For applications requiring a rapid cost effective gas detection solution where conventional fixed gas detection systems are either too expensive or where they are not necessary in the long term. Meshguard offers the ability to deploy Gas Detection monitors around a perimeter offering continuous gas detection for hours, days, weeks or months until the hazard no longer exists. After which it can be redeployed elsewhere.

MeshGuard from Rae is an extended runtime wireless gas detection system offering many of the benefits of Fixed Gas Detection  but with greater flexibility and without the need for hard wiring or expensive commissioning costs.  It is designed to be rapidly deployed and up and running in minutes.   Simply deploy up to 24 of  the MeshGuard (zone 0) detectors around the site where they are required.  Install the FMC 2000 controller unit in a control room and the each MeshGuard detector communicates seamlessly  with all the others in a self forming, self healing* mesh radio network.

* If a sensor goes off line, the other sensors will automatically form a revised network ensuring an uninterrupted flow of data to the FMC2000 Controller. The Controller also raises an alert  identifying the detector which has gone off line :
